Brethren: Elections are coming! National, State, and even our Lodge elections are occurring soon this year. Masons have historically been very good citizens, and many a good citizen exercises their right to vote. I urge you to vote your conscience in all elections available to you in November. One of the reasons our United States is such a great country is because of our privilege and right to choose our leadership. I am writing this last message of the 2010 trestleboard in early August, understanding that much has been accomplished this year. Our Annual Report scheduled 12/6/10 will summarize 2010. Suffice it to say, our lodge is successful due to the service of a great new guard of masons mentored by a great old guard of masons who have shown the younger masons how to practice the tenets of Masonry with enthusiastic beauty, strength, and wisdom. Thank you brothers for all that you do as masons. I believe that next year our new Worshipful Master will give our lodge a huge leap into the Twenty-First Century by proper use of insightful awareness, honest communication, bold leadership, and right actions. So, if you have not been to lodge recently, please stop by. Enjoy the brotherly love, relief, and truth that is masonry. Brothers, in closing, I like to thank you again for the opportunity to serve masonry with such men as yourselves.
