Brethren,

We are making it happen! Over the past few months we have covered a lot of ground. There have
been lodges of instruction that covered topics encompassing the history, ritual, and esoteric
underpinnings of our august Fraternity. We've raised five worthy Brothers to the sublime degree of
Master Mason and have initiated still more good men as Entered Apprentices. Yet we have only
just begun!

The period of time from April through August will be very active at our lodge. We will be
continuing the great and good work of Masonry with events that further stress the importance of
the Masonic tenets of Brotherly Love, Relief, and Truth. Some upcoming highlight include our first
Wyllys – Saint John's Lodge No. 4 Gentlemens' Night, the portrayal of the ancient Saint John’s
Lodge No. 4 ritual of the Fellow Craft Degree for the first time in many years, more Lodges of
Instruction to further Masonic Education, our first Charity Pancake Breakfast, and Masonic Movie
Night. There is certainly something for everyone.

The time has also come for us to discuss and debate many serious lodge issues and we shall do so
with dignity, decorum, and grace, the hallmarks of Masonic character and conduct. As we
continuously build up our lodge we realize what every Entered Apprentice bearing their burden,
every Fellow Craft toiling in the mountains and quarries, and every Master overseeing the work at
the building of King Solomon's Temple realized; any great and important undertaking requires
tough decisions and hard work. We are indeed blessed to have so many wonderful and dedicated
Brothers. Many hands lighten the load. Let us pick up our working tools and make it happen!
