Worshipful Master Gene Meltser has decreed that hence forth the Wyllys - St. John's Lodge No. 4 Book Club will be incorporated into the Lodge Proper and will meet after stated communications to discuss books and papers pertinent to the Craft. Furthermore, the book club will no longer be open to Master Masons only. Entered Apprentices and Fellow Crafts will also be invited as the materials chosen will not contain any of the secrets of the degrees and will be of an instructional nature that is appropriate to all the Brothers of the Lodge.

The first of these new book club meetings will be held after the Stated Communication on May 7. The works being discussed will be the paper Laudable Pursuit by The Knights of the North and the book Observing the Craft by Worshipful Brother Andrew Hammer. Both are very important works and should be read by every member of the Craft.
