Please join us in Congratulating Worshipful Brother Russel F. Bjorklund on being awarded the George R. Gay Award for Meritorious Service to Wyllys - St. John's Lodge No. 4 for 2011.

Worshipful Brother Bjorklund was raised in 1983 and was appointed to the office of Secretary in 1984. He served in that role from 1984 till 1991 when he joined line as Junior Warden. In 1993 he was elected as the Worshipful Master by the brethren and was awarded the Masters Achievement Award by the Grand Lodge. Upon completion of his term as master, he again joined the officer line as Secretary. He continued to serve in that role until his decision to step down in 2010. He proudly and honorably served Wyllys St. Johns as an officer for 27 years, 23 of them as Secretary of this lodge. He has also been a member of the Masonic Hall Association since 1993 and was active in the Scottish Rite.
